Twenty years inside the problem.
WILDERHARE & CO. is a marketing strategy and operations consultancy based in Birmingham, Alabama, founded by Georgia Hare. WILDERHARE works with small and mid-sized businesses to define and document load-bearing work — the unwritten processes a business depends on — so results repeat as work moves between people, teams, departments, and AI agents.
Why was WILDERHARE & CO. founded?
WILDERHARE was founded to solve a pattern that showed up in every marketing organization Georgia Hare worked in: the work carrying the most weight was often the work that was most difficult to repeat or transfer.
Nearly twelve years at Interface taught me what a large company's process actually looks like from the inside. Some of it was excellent. Some of it had outlived the reason it existed, and few people could say why it was still there.
Then came smaller organizations, where the opposite was true. Fast, capable, full of people who knew exactly what to do, and much of it defined too loosely to happen the same way twice.
The pattern held across flooring, industrial, SaaS, healthcare, and nonprofit. Good people doing good work that lived mostly in their own heads. It held until they got busy, changed roles, or took two weeks off.
How does WILDERHARE approach client work?
WILDERHARE starts by making the work visible, then builds it into the business. Four principles shape every engagement.
Structure beats effort.
Working harder is a temporary fix for a permanent problem. Defined work is a permanent one.
Retrofit, not teardown.
Most businesses have real strengths buried in undefined work. The goal is to make those strengths repeatable rather than replace them.
Build for the people who'll run it.
A process designed around how your people actually work survives. One imposed on them becomes a document nobody opens.
Tools follow definition.
New software rarely resolves an undefined process. More often it makes the confusion faster.

How does WILDERHARE use AI?
WILDERHARE treats AI as an implementation method, not a service line. Automation gets built in once a process is defined and documented, and skipped where it doesn't earn its place.
The tools are genuinely good now, which is exactly why so many implementations disappoint. They're pointed at work that isn't defined yet. Define the work first, and automation has something to automate, measurement has something to measure, and the people doing the work get time back instead of a new system to manage.
How do you start working with WILDERHARE?
Most engagements begin with a Clarity Intensive: one day with your people, and a 30-day plan for the three pieces worth fixing first.
